As a two-time breast cancer survivor, no family history, no terrible health problems, this disease came out of left field both times.  I didn’t know it then, but my faith in God being a healer and protector was going to be tested.  On the surface, I had to be strong because I knew that my family was taking their cues from me.  

 

The Lord I serve, showed up and showed out for me and my family.  I never doubted that His hands were over us and His hedge of protection surrounded us.  Was it ideal?  Absolutely not!  But I believe it was necessary to remind us and others of three things:  rely on Him, display the faith that we talk about, and know that He is the one in control.
